Programme

Get your next leaders ready before you need them

A six-month programme for high-potential team members heading toward leadership, so their first day as a manager is not their first day of learning to lead.

The outcome

What you get

A ready bench

Promote from within instead of hiring leaders externally at a premium. Your people already know the business.

Keep your best people

High performers leave when they cannot see a path. A named programme gives them one.

Prepared first-time leaders

Profiling and mentoring before the promotion, so the step up is a step rather than a cliff.

Who it's for

  • High performers who have been identified for future leadership
  • NZ businesses building succession depth
  • Cohorts of 6 to 12, in-house or as part of a mixed cohort

Who it's not for

  • Experienced managers wanting advanced development. The Frontline Leaders Programme or coaching fits better.
  • Organisations with no intention of promoting the participants.
Process

How it works

  1. Profile and goal-set (month 1)

Strengths and personality profiling plus a personal development plan.

  2. Workshops and mentoring (months 2 to 5)

Monthly workshops on core leadership skills, with mentoring in between.

  3. Capstone and report-back (month 6)

A real business project, presented to your leadership team.

FAQ

Common questions

How do we choose who goes on the programme?

Suzy helps you select. The discovery call includes a simple readiness screen, so seats go to people genuinely close to a leadership step.

Is it classroom-based?

Workshops run live, in person or online. Most of the growth happens between sessions, through mentoring and applied assignments.
